Allerton Project Backs The Red Tractor
The recent food labelling and assurance issues don't just affect the major food retailers but the whole livestock sector and the industry's reputation. As a Red Tractor Assured Produce Farm, we are backing the Red Tractor. Can you help to promote the Red Tractor ? Its a simple task to brand your twitter, facebook and websites to support British Farming.

Open Farm Sunday - Calling Leicestershire and Rutland Farm Food Producers
The GWCT Allerton Project are planning to run a food and craft fair on Open Farm Sunday on Sunday June 9th 2013. Organiser Phil Jarvis said 'we would like to make our Open Farm Sunday a bigger, brighter and better event in 2013. It will be an opportunity for local farm food producers to display and sell their produce at this years event'. Interested parties should contact Natalie on 01572 717220
We will have local farm animals, arable machinery, guided tours and we are planning a rural orienteering event through the farm with prizes for those that complete the challenge.
The Loddington Women's Institute are assisting us with our refreshments and we should have a great family day in the countryside.
We are linking up with our local tea room at Holly Cottage and Launde Abbey aim to provide a local produce lunch on Sunday 9th June. The event will be centred around the new visitors centre at Loddington.
